Makeup for groom??

My burning question:

Did the groom get any makeup (foundation, touch-up, powder, etc) on the wedding day??

Ladies, what was your experience?

I am a photographer and I have never seen (or knew if they had) a groom with makeup on...

I had a groom last year that broke out into hives the day of the wedding...it was mysterious and they never figured out why...could have been nerves...anyway we just retouched the photos. Now in this digital age most photographers will do minor retouching to your photos before you receive your proofs or online viewing.

ya. i shoot about 50 weddings a year. ive seen 1 groom put on make up and well... i was kind of wondering if he really meant to marry a woman or if he showed up by mistake hahah.. seriously though if for some reason he should happen to have a blemish or something its so easy to photoshop that out. make up would just look kind of strange.

nope - never heard of the guy wearing makeup for a wedding.

Me neither. I gave mine a pack of oil-blotting rice papers so he could wipe the sweat/shine away on the wedding day.

I had to convince him it wasn't makeup before he would use them..lol

I couldn't imagine fi putting makeup on. That would never happen.

No and my DH would never.

My fi would seriously laugh his a$$ off if I mentioned that...he won't even tan a couple times before we go to Jamaica & he's pitch white - he's Irish!!
