Has anyone actually used an outside florist @ ROR?

I've been in contact with several outside florists, and Kreations Flowers is about $500 less than Tai Flora for what I'm looking for. I read in the flower/photographer thread that Chandlyn said that we could use outside florists, but just wondering if anyone has had success with it? I'm starting to stress and need to make a decision ASAP! Thanks!

I am most likely using Kreations. There is no fee from the RIU to use them. The quoted me a delivery charge of about $35 if I remember correctly. I sent them pictures of the bouquets I wanted and they said they could do it no problem. They are a LOT less expensive. I am currently waiting for them to send me a contract before I send them a deposit.

Yes, I'm so happy to hear that you are using them as well! They were quoting not quite much less for me as well. Same delivery fee.

Did Chandlyn tell you specifically about no fee from RIU? I should probably have it from her in an email just in case...

I'm worried. I arrive in JA on a Tuesday, but my wedding isn't until that Saturday. Between the transit time of their shipping to my home and then my travel to JA ,will the flowers still be/look fresh? How long do they normally last?

The flowers that I'm getting are being delivered to the RIU on the morning of the wedding, so they will definitely be fresh. Who are you using as your florist?

I sent a bunch of Jamaican florists pictures of what I wanted and got quotes. Kreations was by far the least expensive. Here is what I'm getting:


Bride's bouquet @ $63.00 - $ 63.00
8 Bridesmaid bouquets each @ $55.00 - $440.00
2 Corsages each @ $8.00 - $ 16.00
Total $519.00
Delivery $32.00
Grand Total $551.00
