I love the idea of doing a serious dance and then breaking into something funny. I think it will really set the mode for the reception. We are thinking about doing that as a little surprise for our guests :-)

we are dancing to "Everything" by Michael Buble. We didn't want a really slow song, wanted something fun. Planning on getting swing dance lessons to really have some fun with it.

Other top contenders were "Feels Like Home" by Chantal (something) and "We are Man and Wife" by Michelle Featherstone. Both are beautiful but very slow.

I love the idea of doing a choreographed dance but my fiance could never do it unless he was hammered!!!

Our first dance is LETS STAY TOGETHER by Al Green!!! It is actually the very first song we ever danced to together!!

I like the funny dances too, but I don't think we will have the kahonies or the dance skills to do something like that! Our first dance song is between Wake Up (acoustic version) by Coheed & Cambria or Swing Life Away by Rise Against. We both like these songs. I'm not sure what we are going to do for the ceremony as we haven't decided if we will have a violinist or just use an ipod. I would like to do something more non-traditional, but we'll see.

Does anyone remember that PM Dawn song "I'd Die without you?" I LOVE that song..it was from that movie Boomerang back in '92 with Eddie Murphy. Its soo pretty...
