I had thought about "just" fake lashes as I have done that before.... I was worried about them falling off if I did it before I left IN though (as we will leave on a Sat AM and not get married until Wed PM). I looked in my area when I saw your posting.... Prices that I found here are $150-$200! YIKES.... I just dont know if I will be able to do that right before we leave.... Seems pretty pricy.... But also not sure about getting plain old false ones glued on in St Thomas....

awesome idea! i always have to curl my lashes though. my lashes are straight, so it would be strange to mix the fake with my straight lashes. do you think the fake lashes would withstand curling??

i googled eye lash extensions and i think it might be cheaper to fly to canada to have them done! they sound so great though!

Julie- thanks so much for sharing this. I'm so glad someone on here has done this. I had already planned on doing this for my wedding, but had not seen anything about these ont he board. These will be perfect since I'm not much of a makeup person righ now, and mascara runs on me no matter what. I won't have to worry about it. Please do share a closeup. Reasurance from a BDW bride, that I won't look like Mr.Snuffleupagus from Sesame Street is priceless! elefant.gif hehe

BTW- I love your pic!

I will share a close up for sure, as soon as I get one. I really do think they are worth the money though ladies, I am sooo happy with them. My sister got them as well and she also loves them. I still get compliments on them, even with a few missing. I love not having to put on mascara or curl my lashes.

As for curling them, you are not supposed to because it wears them down and they can break. My lashes are pretty straigth as well, but they glue them at the base, so you can not see your old lashes and they take on the shape of these lashes, so having straight lashes will not be an issue. Talk to a pro though, but this is what the girl told me when I got mine done.

I think if you shop around you will find a place that does them cheaper. And, if not, they are still totally worth it. I had to budget for them because we had NO extra money before I left, so I put them in my original budget. lol DH laughed at me, but I said it was important and he said it was fine. I am really glad I did it. And I am sure when I can show you pics you will know why. My lashes are not long at all, so these were perfect.

I was afraid to glue fakes ones on myself because I was worried to mess them up and they never look good when I do it, I have to get a pro to do it for me. I also think that glue breaks down pretty fast and they would totally come off if you are swimming or even showering. JMO though.
