Thanks for all the responses...I can't wait to get more involved. We've spent the past couple of days researching many different resorts and are feeling a little overwhelmed, but we hope to make some definite headway this week.

For Jen & Brendan I actually grew up in Glendale, Queens until I was 10 then moved to Port Washington where my parents still live...small world.

We will be getting married at Couples Ocho Rios on April 19, 2008. It really depends on how many guests you'll have. Whether you will have any kids in the party or not. If there will be kids, consider Riu or Beaches. If there will be no kids, try to look into Sandals or Couples. We chose Couples because it is more afforable than Sandals, we can customize our package more, and all the excursions are included as well.

Congratulations and welcome!! We're also getting married in Jamaica We have a small group and are getting married at a small AI about 10 miles from Negril - Coral Cove Resort in Little Bay. The resort has 13 rooms total, so its a little more quaint and personal. The larger resorts are great if you have a big group, but check it out if you're considering a smaller party. We have been very happy with everyone at the resort so far!
