Thank you girls for all your compliments on the pic! It is my favorite also just because we look almost too good to be true. It was just amazing how it all came together. I never wear my hair up, so I was a bit worried of how it would look... and you know, you never know until the day of to see how it all looks together. I'm relieved it was as beautiful as it turned out.

Edyta, to answer your question regarding the sunset cruise. It was pretty nice, and I would do it again. I think it is a great group activity. I would not really recommend it as a romantic evening together. We actually did the sunset cruise the day after the wedding as a last activitity with the 'rents. It was much more of a party atmosphere. There is also a jazz cruise that is a bit nicer/classier (i.e. more expensive) and one couple said it was very romantic. I can find the info if you want me to.

I actually have the Aqua menu (one of the surprises they give you, I won't elaborate more). I can scan it in and send it to you if you'd like. Our meal at Aqua cost around $325, that was an soup for Tim, salad for me, and an entree for each one of us (fish and lamb), and a bottle of wine. We were originally trying to get a reservation for C in One and Only and are so glad they were full. We met some guests at Marquis who ate there, and at the restaurant in Ventanas and it was $600 for dinner w/ one bottle of wine!

You won't be disappointed!! I truly loved the hotel. It had a nice balance of upscale without being extremely pretentious. Not sure if that makes sense...

Thank you!!

I posted a small wedding album under the post your wedding/engagement photos section. I'll hopefully be able to add more for the bonfire, rehearsal, and more wedding pics of course.

Okay, so there is something I ommitted from the review regarding Georgina (my original words were a bit harsh). I just needed to verify some information before posting as to not make false accusations. I feel almost dumb for posting this, but I did want to address it. So here it goes...

I was meeting Natasha on Thursday 11/09 morning to hand her the starfish that we shared. Natasha needed 65 small starfish to put on her guests place settings. I handed the starfish to Georgina the Wednesday we got there before the wedding. We purchased 96 small starfish total and I used 40 small starfish for my place cards, the rest for decoration. When I handed her the starfish, I was very clear that she had to return all of them to me and that I was sharing the starfish with another bride getting married the very next week. Georgina assured me that she would return everything to me after the wedding (left over programs, fans, cake stand, starfish, etc....).

The one thing that struck me as odd was that when I handed her the starfish, she asked me where I had purchased them and commented that they were rare and expensive in Cabo.

The Wednesday after the wedding, my sister brought me all the things that Georgina had returned to my parents. Everything was there, except that she only returned 51 small starfish to me. I called her to find out where the rest of them were, and she told me that when she was gathering the starfish, our guests wanted to keep them as souveniers. I knew that Tim's parents had kept theirs as souveniers, so it struck me as a valid explanation.

I had to call Natasha on Thursday and explain to her that I only had 51 starfish for her. She was very cool about it but I felt awful!! Not only that, but Tim had gotten struck with Montezuma's revenge and we could not get our act together on Thursday morning to take the starfish to Natasha. We were trying to cram the day with swimming with dolphins and ATV tours to make up for the other days and pretty much we had to go on how Tim felt that minute... Finally I took the starfish to Casa Del Mar on Thursay night. I would have felt way too flaky if I didn't get them to Natasha that day and would have been worried about stressing her out. Unfortunately, that also meant that I didn't get to meet Natasha since she was out to dinner. Pretty much this is yet another semi-public apology to Natasha!

So later on I started thinking about it... Where ALL my guests really that sentimental to keep the starfish? Would Georgina really keep the starfish to rent out later? I probably would not have had these thoughts if the Tabasco's candle issue had not occurred, nor the other little things...

I have asked around some of my friends to see if they did indeed keep them. So far one friend did keep the starfish as a souvenier, she said that it just meant a lot to her and she keeps that sort of things (awwww). And yes, my friends do think it's weird I'm asking! Anyway, so maybe many other of our other guests did keep theirs, maybe Georgina was too lazy to pick them up, maybe the wait staff threw them away... I will never be able to tell. I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Moral of the story, do not share decor if possible. It was not worth it to how awful I felt not being able to deliver something that I promised, not worth taking the chance of stressing another bride out, and not worth the bad words regarding directed towards my wedding coordinator which may or may not be deserved. I know it's just starfish, yet not keeping my word really stressed me out!!
