Newbie in need of logo help please

Ok ladies, I have tried and tried to create a logo. I got an ok one done in word using a frame type clip art. It sucks really...

Can someone please help me?

I would like the wording centered, with a color scheme of blue and tan (sea and sand).

Is that asking too much, maybe I should check into buying one... so perplexed.

hmmm - let's see if anyone can try making some for you ... i may give it a shot myself, but i am just learning how, so i can't promise anything! do you have any examples of what you're looking for? just something to go off of?

I guess if someone can answer this question, maybe I can do it myself. I found clip art that forms the frame I like, However, I cant move it anywhere and have the wording (inserted as word art or through a text box) go with it. Does that make sense?

no, Ive done that. It looks good but I dont know how to move the thing as a whole. If I try to copy and paste it or just move it on the page. The wording separates from the frame. How can I work with it, if it doesnt move as one?

BTW I so appreciate how you guys are trying to help.
