I'm doing one bag per room, unless it is a room of single people, then they get one bag each. I have way too many people coming to do one per guest.
FYI: those bags are way cute...I used for another party i did a year or so ago...but they are really small. look at the measurements first. If you want that small then you are fine, but if you want a bag they can put more things in...that won't work too good... :)

Maria,
I was just wondering where you found the notebooks and cards and after-sun care aloe at. I have been looking for these things and the prices you found are awsome!!

The cards and notebooks were in the dollar bins at Michael's about a week or so ago. They had sooooo much more stuff I would have loved to buy, but I'm already jumping the gun since we haven't re-scheduled the wedding much less have a 'real' headcount on attendees. I'm starting with 13 bags--- 10 pink room bags and 3 of the blue boy bags. If I run over the 13 with an actual headcount, I'm going to wind up with a second set of completely different bags/contents. Oh well...

The after sun care was bought on Ebay, but I just checked the seller and he doesn't have any listings currently. At the time I bought it, I got a case of 36 cans of the after-sun care for something like $15.00 (came out to .41 each including shipping)...

We paid a bit more for our bags, but we're getting beach towels and using 1 bag/couple, so we wanted something a bit bigger and heavier. They are actually really cool, and have 2 pockets in the front. We're going to put our logo on them. They were $5 a piece though. If we were having more people, it would've been too much. Amazon.com has some great variations of canvas totes to pick from starting from about $2. Canvas Totes Search Results.

For the men, we did the same as Maria and got them Asics mesh backpacks and filling them with some basics as well as lots of snacks.

We got moist wipes, tropical themed kleenex packs, after sun lotion, sunscreen, lip balms from Five Below (GREAT prices on this stuff) and some body lotions for the ladies when the Semi-Annual clearance was going on at Bath and Body works. We got the ladies the wooden fans and pashminas (which you can order for a steal via some ladies on this forum who have helped out with this effort).

I got the same dollar tree bags and I went to three stores and cleared them out 9I have ~80 people coming)

They are definitely worth the driving though...they are really cute and big enough for your guest to fit a towel/magazine plus goodies and bring it to the pool/beach!
