Jescman, you rock for asking that VERY question...should I have doubted you, lol...you were sooooo thorough in your site inspection!!

Msglave, thanks for posting that pic. I can't open attachments yet...can you send me the attachment any other way...maybe email? [email protected]

Yes, this is all very confusing (as friggin usual!). After reading Jescman's post that you could get a hurrican candle lamp, I was pretty stoked cause I figured I could just accent that with a few basics to incorporate by colour theme and I was good to go (and not pay the ridic charges for the Royal's centrepieces), but now after Msglave's post I'm confused.

Man, if I wasn't such a "lady" the four letter words that would follow this post...LOL! Not to worry, my FI has been privy to hearing those words quite often these days, lol.

msglave - is the included center piece image that you got the one of the glass hurricane? Because that one is included to and it is really nice. It has a nice simple. You get an option of either or I just only have a picture of the luminary candle.

I guess I am one of few that will have the ceremony on the beach. I stopped caring about onlookers...it is a beach wedding so I'm just going to go with the flow. As long there aren't no nude women sunbathing then I'm good!

i hope the orange candle is an option for me - i got the same pic yesterday as msglave but would LOVE the orange one! let's hope!

i'm having the ceremony right on the beach, too. when i initially pictured a beach wedding, the vision in my head had us standing right in front of the waves with a white decorated arch, so that's what we're sticking with. bring on the sand in our toes (and on my dress, ha!).

more progress, ladies! i received my final payment invoice last evening. it was, of course, all wrong (package price was higher than it's supposed to be and they included a minister that we never requested) but it's a step in the right direction! can't wait to be transferred to a mexico coordinator and really get all the details done!

i requested a map of the gran porto resort. i also asked about the length of the aisle, so if anyon'es interested (and if i actually receive the info), let me know and i'll post it!

we leave a month from today and i'm so excited! we worked on the ceremony script, got some of the ceremony music planned, made playlists for the reception (both dinner and dance music, but who knows if people will dance!?). it's all becoming so real!

If I was to do the beach ceremony I would totally do it at the Gran Porto. Their beach was better and more private actually. It will be beautiful regardless.

And Lady Di I just saw some really funny pictures with some guys in speedos at a ceremony and you know what it was funny. It is all part of being married in Mexico. IF we all just gow ith the flow we will ahve our perfect days. And as longas we are marrying the man of our dreams no speedo can ruin that lol

jesmcan - thank you so much for that little tidbit! i'm glad to know that i'm making the right choice with my beach ceremony at gran porto! i'm not overly concerned with the whole privacy issue (i wouldn't have chosen a beach wedding if i were!). plus, my ceremony isn't until 6pm, so i think the crowds will have significantly thinned out by then. AND, being later in the day, hopefully the topless women will have completed their (very thorough) tanning sessions by then!

Dianep
We leave in 30 days too!! AAAAHHHH!! It is starting to feel real now that everything is in the final stages. I just had my first "real" shower yesterday (had a lingerie party earlier) and it feels so weird. Also, my man has been gone for the past month and comes back right before the wedding so I can't wait to see him! btw, dianep, he's up there by you in Rochester where we will be moving to in June, we LOVE it up there in Minn!
