RIU RM Palace Brides??

OOOooh what are his plans for the bachelor party? We went to Denver for ours (home) and Ryan went up to the mountains one day for snowboarding, then a diff group of friends went to blackhawk (gambling) another night....

He and his friends are going to Cincinnati to see a cubs/reds game tomorrow afternoon then hitting the bars in Cincinnati after that...i would imagine that he will be extremely intoxicated by the end of the night

Jen- The single flowers were an option from RPRM...they were $12 each...much better than the $50 each for bouquets! Just mention that you want them to Ael during your meeting.

So... I got my quote from Kool Beach, and while it's doable, we would have to scrounge for every penny possible to pull it off, so I guess I am back at the RIU for the reception! If anyone has any ?'s for me about KOOL, feel free to PM me.

A quick question for you all: how far out in advance of the wedding did you ask your BMs to start looking at dresses? I have already decided on Alfred Angelo and just asked the girls to pick between the two materials I am wavering on that they liked, but no one's answered me yet and it's been a month.

My wedding's not until next year, so maybe I jumped the gun?

Katie- Thanks for the info.. I will keep that in mind for my meeting with Ael!

Adrienne- So with BM dresses, I know lots of brides have their BM order them around the 6 months prior mark... this gives the dresses enough time to come in and get alterations if needed. However, I feel it can't hurt to get them done earlier if you find one you like. So I think its not too early to have them start looking, but I wouldn't worry if they haven't really started yet. Besides, as a typical girl, I am glad the wedding I am in this December, the bride is having us order the dresses in June even though she has found the ones she likes allready. I am convinced I will lose the weight I want to by then and safely order the smaller size I want to be (reality, I will be exactly the same weight and shape in June as I am now, lol)

I agree with Jen, Adrienne- maybe the girls want to give it a little more time for getting in shape or something- it is TOTALLY something I try to do before any big event! Also, food for thought- maybe waiting wouldn't be a horrible thing because you may change your mind. A year out from my wedding, EVERYTHING was different than it is now. But then again, I change my mind often about everything.

 

I got my earrings! I am so in love with them. The pics don't really do them justice, they sparkle a ton.

Thanks!! I originally wanted just bling, but when the consultant brought these out, I felt like they were made for my dress. Have a good night- Ryan and I are doing what we love most- grilling steaks...mmmmm....

I just picked my dress my dress up yesterday. So exciting! Now I feel like I can start looking for jewelry and shoes.
