DJ: Mannia Cancun - Add info, please

Some "DJing" questions for those who used Mannia:

*How did they transition from one song to the next? Did they "mix" so that the beats blend in?

*If songs were not a hit w/ the crowd, how quickly did they transition to another song?

*For those who had multicultural weddings, how adept were they at transitioning from one culture to another? After how many songs would they switch?

*For those who requested hosting functions, how good were they at talking to the guests and directing them?

We decided early on that we wanted to hire a DJ and make it easier on ourselves. We hired DJ Mannia for our wedding in January 8th. Luis was our DJ and he was EXCELLENT! A few days before the wedding we sent him a list of songs divided into categories (dinner, slow songs, fast songs, not to play songs, etc)…he did a fantastic job at not only playing the songs we wanted, but mixing them one into the next as if they were all meant to be together in perfect harmony! He announced us when we walked into our reception, the toast from the best man, our song, our parents songs, and cake cutting. I highly recommend them. Extremely professional, quick to respond to emails, perfect English, fun and affordable. A+ all the way! All of our guests thought they did an excellent job!

Hello!

I read that you guys thought the announcements and his english were perfect.

That was my biggest worry. I'd like him to announce the bridal party and our entrance to the reception and also the first dance, etc.

Did any of you have an issue where any of this got messed up by accident? I've been to a few weddings where a few of these were annonced wrong!

Also, did you guys find that all of the songs you wanted were available?

Thanks!

Ana

DJ Mannia did our reception and I have to say they did an absolutely wonderful job! Luis was wonderful, they guys were at the hotel on time to set up the lighted dance floor and everything was done perfectly! Once the music began to play we asked them to slow it down a bit as they jumped right into the fast club music and our older guests weren't enjoying themselves. They did a perfect job of figuring out which songs to play and really did keep the dance floor packed until the end of the reception, at which point everyone shouted "uno mas", they complied and played one last song.

If I could, I would have DJ Mannia do our reception back here! You won't be disappointed with them!

hi! i asked dj mannia to send me their pricing and packaging info. i told them that i was having my wedding at dreams cancun and they advised to contact my wedding coordinator if i wanted to book their services. i think i'll go ahead and book them since they responded to my inquiry super fast and i still haven't heard a peep from doremixx.
