Your pictures are beautiful! I, with many others it appears, am also curious about how you got so many pictures. Would you mind sharing the cost of getting the extras...I currently am using the resort photographer and am worried about quantity (As I would like to be able to sort through them all later...and print on my own).

Thanks!

Hair Question - I have been trying to review more recent reviews and see which spa hairstylist people are recommending booking. I believe in the past Trinity was often recommended...but I have not really seen anything lately. If I am being totally blind, or anyone has some input it would be greatly appreciated! I joined forever ago, but as the wedding gets closer I am really starting to rely on this forum! (so still trying to get used to logistics of how everything works)

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.
Sounds like a plan Oceanwonderland! I'll let you know what happens!

I agree - I was just there in Feb for a site visit between Wed - Sun and they did not have fire dancers on Saturday - they had some martial arts group. Friday was carribean night. I too think they change the schedule frequently too.

I'm really disappointed that they don't allow bonfires anymore - I was actually thinking doing that one night -

Has anyone gotten a confirmation recently that they won't allow bonfires? I have written Aurora but still haven't heard back. I will let you know what she answers, but based on some recent posts I am not getting my hopes up.

THANKS!!!
I read somewhere (I think it was sunbride) bought 2 bolts of tulle (40 yards each). Check out the pictures of her gazebo. I plan on bringing pictures down to guide the staff on how I want everything. I am pretty sure that you don't need to do anything special to shape it. After everyone on this forum that have decorated their gazebo, I'm sure they are pros.

Yes please! I would also love to hear about anyone's recent experience with the make-up application and who they used. Another beauty service that nobody ever talks about is manicures/pedicures for beautiful wedding hands. On the first page Sunbride said all brides were NOT happy with this service. Is this still true?

That's a good idea... it doesn't hurt to ask !!
Are you going to have menus made for your tables? I have the gold dinner right now, but IF they let us change to the $20, or IF we decide to use the silver menu, I don't want to bring down these menus and not use them. I'm not sure how that works...

I think a month or two before the wedding, they ask you to choose your dinner items. At that point, I'm sure they will still be either silver or gold, but I'd still inquire about the $20. I would choose your menu items and create a menu to bring down. That way if they force you to use the silver or gold menu, you'll have a cute little piece of paper in front of everyone explaining what they are eating. But if you get down there and they actually let you use the $20, then that menu won't match anymore, so then you couldn't use them, but it's a 50/50 chance.

Another option, is having the basics printed out on the menu (first course, second course, dessert - however you feel like phrasing it), and then you and your bridesmaids can write in the actual meal items once down there. Won't look as nice, but they would still get the gist.

Hi I'd read recent posts on here that they are no longer allowed but when I submitted my wedding planning info to Aurora I played dumb and included instructions for the bonfire times at my wedding reception. Her reply was that they do not allow bonfires to which I replied they were allowed 2 years ago when I booked my wedding and have been in my plans since then, I really laid it on thick saying I'd heard such great reviews about how they give a great atmosphere to the reception and is there no way they could reconsider etc...

Her reply was short and sweet
" the hotels environmental policies no longer allow bonfires."

Its a no then!!
