Getting married in Los Cabo July 2010- looking for a good price, any suggestions?

We are looking to get married in Los Cabos preferrably Dreams but can't seem to find the right price.

All of the quotes we are getting are closer to $2000. We are hoping to be closer to $5000.

Any suggestions? Anyone find a good price flying out of Calgary and Toronto?

When you say you are looking for the right price do you mean on the ceremony and reception total or are you including travel? I am getting married at the dreams and doing the dreams ultimate package and it is $2650 plus extras for music and photography and decorations etc...it will end up costing closer to $5000 or $6000 and then you still have travel and dress etc.

Maybe you are looking at flights and added an extra zero to the $5000? Can you clarify what you are pricing?

Jessica, what extras are you getting? I am getting married at Dreams in Oct and I'm wondering what extras to get.

I'm getting extra photgraphy because the package only includes the ceremony...and bringing most of my own decorations i'm thinking, but really that's it! We thought about adding extra music also with a DJ but now we are just leaning towards the trio during the ceremony and cocktail hour (which is included in the package) and for the reception just renting the ipod hookup and speakers and having my cousin DJ the playlist. Have you set a date yet?

Hey Jess what kind of decorations are you planning to bring? I hadn't thought of bringing my own decorations, but it sounds like a great idea and would help save some money!

I am bringing all of the simple things...votives for the tables, crystals for my flowers and the centerpieces, all of the out of town or welcome bags for the guests, any ribbon, sand vases, etc......

I am also planning on Dreams in Cabo, and I'm also thinking of bringing my own decorations and welcome totes. It's SOOOOOOOOO easy to go over budget, but the Ultimate package offers so much that really, there isn't much more you'd need. Have you ladies decided between the beach or the Gazebo?
