Dominican Republic I think?? November 2010

My fiancee Steve and I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago. We are looking at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. I am already overwhelmed at the options and the idea of planning so I decided to join to get more information and advice from other brides. Nervous about the planning but know I need to get a move on it.

Actually I was getting information on both the paradisius punta cana and the real. What made you decide on the punta cana?

My FI actually chose Punta Cana which surprised me. But after finally getting him to sit down and look at my weeks of research on resorts all over the Carribean and Mexico it was the one he liked the most AND it's the on that got back to us the fastest. There are three resorts that never even got back to us. So we went with it.

We found out a week ago, that a friend of a friend was there a little over a year ago and that it's their favorite resort (and they've been to a lot) so that made us happy.

At the end of the day, we're just taking a leap of faith because we can not afford to take a trip down to check it out. Good luck.
