FI had pretty much picked Belize for our wedding before he even proposed I was on board with it because it was one of our favorite excursions on the first cruise we took together.

We picked our resort for the beach, but also Jamaica because it's easy to get married there. No need for document translation and chest xrays or blood work required.

First and foremost it was because I was born and raised in PR and have always wanted to get married there. The beaches, the atmosphere and knowing the country and being able to do internal tourism was amazing.

Second was because my father couldn't travel out of the country due to his current health status.

Third because we had the convenience of getting married on the same day. We didn't want to have 2 days to chose from we wanted the day of our wedding to be the day in our wedding certificate.(dorky factor but it was important to us).

We picked Dreams PV for a few of those reasons. Though, first was price for the guests.

We also loved the property and what they offered

Mostly because it was a nice all inclusive that allowed kids
