Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

I thought having a destination wedding was supposed to be less stressful, lol. I guess in some senses it is less demanding, but I'm starting to freak about the littlest things. I bought some bridesmaid's dresses a few months ago at Ross (yay for Ross!), but this weekend I found dresses I LOVED!! So, I dragged my fiance to 5 Rosses in one day all over the DFW metroplex. And I called my mom and she went to 4 trying to get another one! (we found 2 of the sizes we need, but I still need a Large). And now that I have found these dresses, I can't get them out of my mind and I know they are the perfect dress!! I NEED ONE MORE!

omg I just realized that the reception for a private event is only 4 hours...I thought it went to 11 pm! This means if our reception starts at 5:30, our party and dancing is over at 9:30!! If we want to go later we have to purchase an extra hour and half....god only knows how much that will cost.

Has anyone else been told about this? Is anyone doing a cocktail party? If so, how much is costing you per person approximately?

Megan, Im having a private reception as well....
So I pushed my my ceremony time to 5pm since sunset for my wedding date is about 5:40, then quick last pics and having my guest meet at the mojotio bar at 6pm-7pm for drinks, then our ceremony starts at 7pm for dinner and dj. So my reception will end at 11pm, which is when I heard the noise curfew is anyways. At which time those guest who want to keep partying, can choose a disco and hang out there after 11.
Im not having a cocktail party, through them, we are making our own lol from 6-7pm haha. NO WAY IM PAYING THEM ANYMORE MONEY.

I love your idea! It's a win win solution.

We've actually agreed to sit down tonight and just plan, discuss and conquer!

The wine is already chilling in the fridge....

I'm having a cocktail reception on the wooden palapas on the beach. It's $10 per person for an hour and a half, open bar & 5 passed hor'derves. 5:30pm - 7:00pm with dinner immediately after. We'll probably go to the disco @ 11pm

That's a really good idea....do you know where i can find sunset times? I'm getting married in July, so it will most likely be different than yours.
