are these cheesy?

I have 80+ guests coming to Jamaica, so I thought these would be cute to give out at the reception, so everyone would know everyone elses name. But the more I think about it, the more I'm not liking the idea. What do you all think?

how about at a welcome dinner instead?

I think they're cute... they're not like the "HELLO, MY NAME IS____" tags!! But, I think a lot of people will introduce themselves and it doesn't necessarily need to be a nametag event if you don't want it to be (plus, a good way to cut costs if need be!)

I think doing it at a Welcome Dinner would be fine, and maybe an ice breaker. For name tags, I think they're cute.

They aren't cheesy, but I also say give them out at a welcome dinner/event. That way everyone has a chance to meet and greet before the wedding.

I think they would work if they were more colourful.

i'd say if you do them - they'd be better at a welcome dinner. otherwise all of your wedding pics will have these in them! they are cute - but i don't know about your wedding reception.
