RIU RM Palace Brides??

I believe if you book more then 40 people then you have to upgrade to the next package, but I could be wrong (caprice package).

You can have a private party if you have over 40-50 people, but it cost an add'l $1700 but that also includes the DJ.

So has anyone heard of any flexibility with the over 40-50 number... like if we only had 30 people would there be anyway to get a private reception?

From what the past brides said, anything can happen for a $$$$

Yes, I finally got through it all yesterday... I had been taking it chunk by chunk for a few days and realized that a lot of my questions would have been answered earlier.

As for the beach photos, I have only seen a few and don't feel like I saw any posts from any BDW reviews that had their actual ceremony on the beach because of how beautiful the gazebo is. Here is a link: RIU Weddings Playa del Carmen Mexico

This is a blog set up by the WC there, so you can look at pictures of the cake and flowers. At the end it shows the location choices which includes the beach set up atleast. Its not an actual wedding but you get the idea. Hope that link works

well i go collect my bd book tomorrow and collect my dress on saturday.i have got a few things crossed off my list this week too.i cant believe i go 2wks on saturday i feel soo pumped.i have my hen night next friday then packing sunday (after recovering saturday) then thats it off we go lol.

lisa,hope married life is still good lol and your ok.i know we had the conversation before you went regarding what you can pay card/cash for.can you just confirm what you had to pay for in cash.i need confirmation on following photos,videogrpaher,flowers.i know i can pay my balance of spa on card i think.if you could let me know that would be great.is there any advise you can give me with this short time to go?

Thanks Shellk! Your date is sooo close. I just realized my parents will be down in playa during the time of your wedding. They are staying at the iberostar tulum, so were gonna walk down and check out the Riu for me. Who knows, maybe they will get a glimpse at your wedding! Good luck doing all this last minute stuff. My sister got married last year in Jamaica, so I know this time can be stressful. But as soon as she got down there, I've never seen her happier or more carefree so just remember beach is near!
