I am getting married in November of 2010 so it's so awesome to see another wedding around the same time of year!!

For your hair/makeup appts...did you book those through Cecilia or directly with the Spa? And how fair in advance did you have to book them?

One other question...how far in advance did you feel your guests needed to book their/flights rooms etc? When we went to visit Dreams it was over Thanksgiving and it was completely booked (which may have just been due to that timing); however, I want to make sure there's room for my guests!! :)

I actually called the spa a few months in advance and booked appointments for my entire wedding party. There are only a couple ladies who do hair and make up so I would say better safe than sorry. It would stink if they booked up and someone in your party was without an appointment.

As far as airfare goes, I watched it for a while. At one point it dipped down really low and I emailed everyone immediately and told them they were running a big risk if they didn't book. Our round trip airfare only cost $280 and it hovered around $600-700 most of the time. All of the people who were definites booked and got that amazing rate.

I also recommended that people book their rooms as soon as possible. Once I set up a reservation code with the hotel, I mailed out save the dates with all the information. I ended up booking a lot of guests rooms including my wedding party and family so they were guranteed. They don't charge you anything to do that and have a great cancellation policy (48 hrs?). At the time we went, I would say the hotel was at 75% capacity so there was no risk of running out of rooms, but you never know. I would tell your guests to ere on the side of caution and book a room and then cancel if plans change.
