Should my "Karma Points" Be updating?

Just wondering if my karma points should be updates on my posts too... I have 5, but it still only registers one.

 

No biggy, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a bug or something. thanks!

Do you have 5 rep points? it's not 1 rep= 1 karma. I have 105 rep points but something like 12 karma.

 

we don't exactly understand karma. It looks like your time as a member makes a difference in your karma. We also know you can lose it by stealing points. As far as I know karma isn't actually used for anything.

For a long time I thought "Karma" points is based off reputation points.

it might be. but it looks like time as a member makes a difference too. we found a member with very few posts, but joined 2 years before then & they had lots of karma.

I went to the forum about these forums, but didn't see what exactly karma was.

Any help mods?

I don't think anyone knows exactly how it works. But, really it doesn't matter. You don't need karma on the forum to do anything. It's just there, but as far as I know it doesn't change anything.

I wasn't too, too concerned-- just curious more than anything.

where do you see rep points? hmmmmmmm..
