Grew up in Michigan, but living in Miami now.

I am marrying the love of my life in Playa on Thanksgiving weekend...

Saturday November 27th, 2010!!!

Venue TBD. (we are thinking a private beach or old mexican colonial style chruch for the ceremony and still brainstorming for reception locations) Please let me know if you have any recommendations for us.

I am in the process of interviewing a handful of wedding planners in Playa right now as well so if you know of anyone fabulous let me know!

I've heard great things about BDW's forum community.

Welcome Emily! I am a wedding coordinator specializing in boutique locations in the Riviera Maya. Unfortunately, at this point, I've rather worked myself out of active referrals on the forum. I've made planning a wedding so easy for my girls that they don't really do anything about it or check into the forum very often.

However, I'm running a site visit down to the Tulum and Playa Nov. 11-15. Our first stop is at La Reve in Playa (rated #2 in boutique hotels on TripAdvisor) and to get hair trials completed by the infamous Doranna.
