I hope this information I found is helpful...  We are getting married at Gran Poto Real in Playa and the vendor fee is $350...  But I did happen to come across this regarding your resort while looking for a photographer... This is what they had to say about the vendor fee...

Iberostar Paraiso Beach, Iberostar Pariso Lindo: Mixed answers. We have shot there approximately 4 times. A couple times they required we spent the night, and the others were told we weren’t allowed but they would make an exception.

Iberostar Quetzal, Iberostar Tucan (Playacar locations): Vendor fees of $350 for MTM Studios. Not a per/person fee.  Day passes are required if we are to access food/beverages during the wedding… otherwise no bracelets or all inclusive access

Im new here too, I have also been looking for cake vendors and have found about 5. They are not in Mobay I think but they deliver cakes Islandwide. There is Forever Sweet in KGN. You can find the on FB, they do amazing cakes. There is also Margaret Myrie but I think she is based in Negril and available on FB also. There is Selena Cakes who I want to contact, you can google her info or I think she is mentioned here on BDW. There is also Future Bakery who i believe did a cake for Lennox Lewis the boxer, he is in Ocho Rios. Oh and there is cakes by Leanne Cooke. She is in Mobay and may be your best bet! I dont have contact details for them but they are easily found on the web. I hope this helps with names!!! However the costs depend on how many ppl your are having and they can quote you accordingly.

congratulations on your engagement.  I am also getting married at this resort in Nov 2014.  I don;t know the details about outside cake vendors, but I do know there are no options for a more elaborate cake at the resort.

I'd love to know this too. I hate all the resort options!! But they have crazy vendor fees for everything I've asked about so far
