Getting married at tHe Hard Rock Cancun

Recommended Posts

Hey Ladies,

I have been having so much trouble, finding any information on the Hard Rock Cancun Hotel since renovation was finished. If anyone knows or has any recent info please send my way , any advice experiences...etc

My experience so far is Miami wedding dept is pretty much clueless about everything! Janessa Lopez my 2nd wedding coordinator (maggie was fired) I went through is very responsive but they cannot get very in detail. Now that its less then 30days before my wedding my coordinator in Mexico Cyntia is not consistent with getting back to me. I cant even get her to call me back and now i have to deal with millions of email threads to get my questions answered.

My experience so far is that they will charge you extra for anything and everything including seating cards and table numbers just for them to put it on the table will cost be $100. fee. i have also learned" nothing is guaranteed" until you get there, its their favorite response! My parents are also premiere members of the palace resorts and they have not done anything to be more accomadating which supposedly they promise with your membership!

I would deftly recommend if you are planning a wedding there to go before wedding, because its different than when you go their for a vacation. I regretfully didnt get a chance to do! Now it will all be a surprise , the only thing i know is what my ceremony collection will look like (white rosette).

I am excited to have a beach wedding , i think it will be beautiful my photographers i have chosen are :

DEL SOL - they are super communicative!!! They call they email, they take surveys to get to know you!

I booked my wedding for February 2014 at the Hard Rock Hotel.  I really like the fact that I can communicate with a wedding coordinator in Miami versus out of the country.  I have had a great experience so far I like that they offer so many complimentary events if you have a certain amount of guests.  The hotel is beautiful and they offer my guests resort credits!!!

We are getting married at the Hard Rock Cancun in August of 2013.  I wish there were more reviews and such on here, but I understand that it is pretty new and there are very few.  So far I have had good communication with the wedding planner in Miami.  If anyone has any advise for this resort, I'd love to hear it.

Hi there!  I have booked my May 2014 Wedding at the hard rock hotel cancun. Mine is on May 17th, 2014.  I was confident choosing this resort because I have been there a couple years ago when it was Cancun Palace.  The same people own it, and just transformed it into a newer, more hip vibe.  Same great food, and top shelf alcohol available.  The resort credits are a great perk for the guests too!   They have wedding coordinators based out of Miami which makes it easier to communicate with them.  I think you get one at the resort assigned to you a month in advance, but by then you should have most things already set up with the miami coordinator so not much left to do but meet the new person when you get there and give them all your stuff to set-up how you'd like.  I hope it's that easy anyways!  I figure if something goes  a little wrong... who cares, I'm on a beach with the people I love!  =)

hello ladies!

I just booked my wedding at Hard Rock Cancun for June 2014!

we got a great deal with the travel agent, plus all the perks you get for booking here (resort credits) and group functions included were the reasons why we chose this resort. The Wedding packages are great and and sure it will turn out beautiful because the property and beach look fabulous!

i found a couple of reviews here under the hotel reviews section, it is  a newer property so there were only 3 when i checked but they all have very positive comments.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
