Renting them didn't seem to be cheaper (at least not from the vendors that I found).  I would suggest buying them, and if you can find them used and in the the colors you need, than even better. I would say that you have time to shop around and wait it out to see if a great deal pops us somewhere for used sashes. And check out ebay occasionally. I already bought mine on ebay - 50 sashes for $15, they were used but in perfect condition and the exact color i color i needed. And there are plenty of BDW brides selling sashes too.

I'm buying mine as opposed to renting them from the resort. EPM charges $5 per chair sash which is outrageous in my opinion! I haven't checked eBay but Choco thanks for the tip. That's a great idea!

i think i would rather rent/use what the resort has... i have seen a lot of wedding pictures of wrinkly sashes/tablecloths that i assume are wrinkly from being packed in luggage??  that's my worry!

I know that many brides (obviously not all) request that the resort iron the sashes prior. The fee for doing this in addition to purchasing your own sashes, is still cheaper than renting from the resort.

I'm thinking of going this route too.  There is sometime irons/ironing boards in rooms ... not sure if this resort has that or not.  I would consider doing it myself, depending on how many people I'm expecting.

Good idea, never even tout of that... You were quoted $5 a sash from the resort?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
