I definitely think it's less than $150 but the guests can come from 1 hour before your ceremony until the end of the reception. I may have a couple of guests who are staying at another resort (because they have a time-share) but they were so nice about it and told us that they would pay for their own guest passes!

Someone suggested paying for a room instead of paying the $500 vendor fee, but since there are 3 crew members, paying for a room will be more expensive. Does anyone know if there are any other options to grant access to outside vendors and feed them? (I will probably hire an outside videographer too.)

I'm bring my 2 photographers from the US so we paid for their rooms and avoided the $500 vendor fee. However, I think even if you have them stay at the resort you still have to pay for their meals at the wedding (which is pretty typical since photographers spend most of the day with you). But you should look into how much a triple room is for 1 night. I think for me, it would've been less than $500! Save where you can!

I just found out TBH charges $14 per person per hour for any additional hours over the 3 reception hours included in the $45/person fee. It really messes with my budget since I plan on having 100 guests and a reception of 6-7 hours. I'm freaking out and wondering if there are any other "hidden" fees I should know about. Any brides have any info on additional fees us future brides should be aware of?

Hi Everyone,

I just got engaged in September and I'm looking to have my wedding reception at the Beloved Hotel in October of 2014.  I will have my hindu wedding ceremony in NYC in October of 2014 as well.

Does anyone have the email address of the wedding coordinators at the Beloved?  I've e-mailed them requesting information and haven't heard anything back...it's been 3 days now.

Also, does anyone know about webinars that might be available anytime soon?  I'm thinking of taking a weekend trip to the Beloved just to see the venue and rooms, etc. but I think that might be very costly and If i can do a webinar, that would probably be sufficient.

Any information possible would help greatly!  Thank you so much :)

Had a wonderful experience at the Beloved Hotel!! It was also our third time back!! Had a rainy wedding day, however it was by far an incredible day for myself and our guests!! We had decided on an outside vendor for hair/makeup. Well worth it!! Mayan Hospitality works directly with the resort, so no vendor fees!! I chose the onsite photographer and he was amazing!! Even put a little video together that captured the entire wedding!! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!  carrie.sota@@gmail.com

Good Luck and Happy Wedding Planning!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
