Where are you going for your honeymoon?

I'm actually torn about what we're planning to do. FI does not want to stay & HM in Jamaica. He's always said that he wants to HM in Hawaii. So, he wants us to come home and 2 days later leave for a 10 day stay in Hawaii. It was just impossible to go from Jamaica to Hawaii so returning home is our next best option.
At first I didn't mind figuring it will give us an opportunity to pack light when we go to Jamaica & then repack when we get home to leave for Hawaii. I just don't want us to be tired from all of the traveling. But since this is what he's always wanted & I really do want to visit Hawaii, I've embraced the idea, more so because I know that this is the 1 thing he wanted.

as of now we are going to be in Molokai for a week for the wedding and wedding related activities and then go to Kauai for 4 Days and then Big Island for 4 Days but we really want to go to the Maldives so if we save enough, who knows!?!

We are staying in riviera maya 7 days for a wedding/ honeymoon combo. I prefer to vacation for less than 10 days at a time. I get tired of eating different food after a while & just want to get home & start playing with all my vacation pictures.

We'll probably take a great anniversary trip next year. Right now I'm thinking costa rica. If we feel like we missed out on a honeymoon when we get back, we'll go to a B&B in the North carolina mountains.

We're actually going to be in Cabo for 16 days for the wedding and honeymoon. We're taking a few extra days off before and after as well so we'll have some time at home.

We originally wanted to go to Tahiti for our honeymoon right after the wedding but we knew the trip would be rushed. We also knew that after 6 days in Cabo getting ready for the wedding, the wedding itself and all the other events we have planned, we would be exhausted. We didn't want to have to hurry up and pack, travel across the world and then move around from island to island when we just want to relax. So we decided to wait and go to Tahiti for our 1st anniversary so that we could stay in Cabo and relax right after the wedding.

I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am about it. We got a Premiere Suite at the Hilton for the full 16 days, plus we upgraded our flight to First Class on the way down (it's not available on the way home.) But get this, we're in row 1 on the way down - I've never been in row 1 on a plane in my life. Is it ridiculous that I'm this excited about it????

I would totally be excited! I haven't sat in Row 1, but First Class in general is so comfy! And the free drinks are always a plus! Mike says that he will fly First Class for our honeymoon/wedding, too.

i've been on row 1 of a tiny little plain that shuttles between two towns 3 hours apart :)

Next time I fly american, I can get free upgrades to first class! I've never flown first class.

We are getting married June of 08 then honeymooning in Italy at the end of September of 08....so 3 months after is still kind of a honeymoon! We wanted to have something else to look forward to after recovering from our post wedding vacation blues
