Everybody's erings are so pretty... I can't wait to go pick our bands - my ring was a total surprise.
Stephanie - that is a really unique diamond shape - it's pear shape, yes?

It's an awful picture, but it's the only one I have. It's 3 diamonds, all princess cut - very simple! The band is platinum - and I don't have a band to go with it yet. I can't wait to shop for that next!

Yes, it's a pear. Way back in the day, I always said I wanted a pear - he remembered. :-)

Thanks Christa, I didn't pick it out! I wish I would have but he did a good job! See that is my problem my band is so thick that a band looks bad next to it. I really want an eternity wedding band that the diamonds go all the way around but everyone I have put on so far looks like crap! So who knows. What kind of band are you doing?

I can imagine it would be hard to find the right band for your ring - because it really is a show stopper on it's own, plus it probably takes up a good amount of space on your finger. Maybe you should look at a really thin band that has pave set diamonds? Just an idea.

I have not found "the band" yet. I just started looking actually. I've been drawn to 2 totally different styles - one just like you say, an eternity band with princess cut diamonds all the way arounds; and the second is way out there like a basket cut, wide band - more eclectic looking. I have not found one to try on yet, so I just have no idea!

OK, so this is the general idea of what I was thinking when I said "basket cut" - I'm pretty sure I made that up! This one is way too wide though - 11 mm.

Natalie - this is what I was thinking when I made the suggestion about looking for a thinner band w/pave set stones...it's 2.3mm wide

This is mine, except the setting is white gold instead of platinum, and the stone is a 1.25 ct radiant cut instead of the princess cut. I really don't know what band would go with it, since it seems most bands would cover up the scrollwork on the side, and I don't want to do that!

Of course, I should probably wait until I actually have the ring on my finger before I worry about the band, huh? LOL! I'm hoping it's this weekend.

Oh, and I totally picked this out myself. I feel kinda bad about that, but not as bad as I knew I would feel if he picked something I didn't like!

I love this one! It is so pretty! The other one is so cool! I haven't really seen any like that! That's the one your leaning towards?
