Mine's pretty simple. We originally wanted the trillion cut ring that I've attached a pic of but we couldn't find one in the size that he wanted so we went with my 2nd favorite cut which is princess. It's 2.12 carats on a white-gold tiffany setting. The picture of my ring doesn't show the band in the best light, but it's a decent pic of the ring.

Colleen OMG I love love love that ring. I am in love with the 1920's and you are right this ring dates before the art deco era.... It is amazing. One thing I learned do something different with your engagement ring, because it will be with yoiu forever and you can pass it down your blood line. Plus you will probably end up wearing your wedding ring more.
It is amazing GO FOR IT....
I love that it is different. That is also what I love about my ring is that no one in the world has it.....l

I finally got my ring yesterday...Took us forever to find/create a ring but I absolutely love the finished product. We want to do something with sapphires as they are a symbol of loyalty and devotion...plus I really like the gems!

Since I couldn't get my camera to take a clear picture of the ring I searched the net for a picture of it. This is my ring except mine is princess cut...

Let me tell you, it NEVER wears off! In December, I will have been engaged 2 years ago and married for 7 months and I still catch myself staring at my ring! Quote:

I love catching up on the beautiful rings that are added to this thread!! | I agree, we have been engaged for almost 2 1/5 years and I probably look at my ring a few times a day. Yes, I know that's crazy but it's so pretty and it's just a wonderful thing to have and we all love our rings so why not stare at them. From what I have seen on here everyone's rings are all so different and gorgeous, enjoy staring ladies!

I agree - even though I'm not engaged yet my b/f gave me a small diamond solitaire in white gold on our one year anniversary and I still have that feeling when I look at it even!
