Here is my E ring. FI and I designed it ourselves. The setting matches a necklace he gave me one year for Christmas.

We just picked up my bands yesterday! They turned out great. My ering was custom made and the same designer made my bands to match. It's not the best pic since FI took it on his camera phone, but wanted to share my excitement!  | |

Thank you, Michelle. It was my fiance's mother's anniversary present before she passed away from breast cancer 10 years ago. The center stone is Tanzanite. It has such an amazing meaning to us! I'd love to see your ring!

Wow, it is really similar! I love your wedding band with it - I was thinking of something similar, but was worried that it would take away from the e-ring. But, it looks great to me! Your FI did a great job!

Actually there's a wee bit of a story...in the beginning we had no intention of me getting an e-ring as a way to save money. Tight pants in the family here...
We agreed we'd buy a realy nice ring together for our 5th or 10th anniversary. I showed him the mount I liked and said that when we have more money this is the style I think I would want with no intention of getting something like it for another 5 to 10 yrs. I swear I wasn't angling, just happend to be in the store looking at bands and noticed the mount. Well low and behold, I got it for Valentines day and together we chose the center stone, a sapphire, my favorite.
When the e-ring was finished, I pared it up with the wide wedding band we had planned on buying and it just didn't seem to suit. The jeweler said let's try something even though you told me you want just a plain wedding band....and it looked perfect and complimented the ring. Bought it that very day instead of waiting like most people do.
You'll see when the time comes to buy your bands and you try them with your e-ring. Just make sure you post a pic so we can all see.
