Today I went and picked up my husband's new wedding ring. I will give it to him on his birthday, on Friday. He has no idea. This is the new one, with the original 26.5 year old ring. 
This is the ring he had made for me for our 25th anniversary, which I wear with my original wedding ring.  |

I am so jealous of everyone's rings! I chose mine when I was 17 and hated jewelry so its a three stone .5 caret ring... i like the design, but i would also like to have a big rock on my finger!

Okay, here are pics of my e-ring and my wedding band, both of which I just got sized. It took me forever to find a band I liked, but I finally decided on this ring guard cause it just makes my ring sparkle even more! I was so happy to have my e-ring back I took a ton pictures of them, here are just a few. (sorry no matter how many times I resize in photobucket, they look the same size when i post)
My e-ring: a diamond solitair with a twist(two small side stones) set in platinum 
My wedding band: a platinum ring guard 
E-ring + wedding band = Bling Bling!

I love your ering, its beautiful, if you got a simple (thin) band for your wedding band it might still allow the surprise diamonds on the sides to show through.

I think I'm going to have to try on a few different types of bands before I make up my mind....just means that I have to spend some time playing in jewellery stores! I should take a picture of the two rings side by side :)
It took 25 years to get an upgraded ring, but I'm glad we waited until we could afford it.
