Also tell your FI Reef just came out with new flip flops that have a 3 oz flask in the heel of each one!!!!!
That is really creative and interesting. I will have to look into those!!!!

My FI got his guys the Reef Flip Flops with the Flask in them. The review said that Reef flip flops in general are really comfortable, but the flasks tend to leak and are small.. he didn't care and said the idea of having a flask in your shoe is cool and very different. We have a friend with the bottle opener and he LOVES them.

To be honest, my FI has about 3 of these flasks from weddings he was in, and I have NEVER seen him use them.

Yeah, we are getting the Reefs with the flasks. Once we arrive, we're going to geteach GM a bottle of Dominican Run and fill up the flask with whatever wil fit. Then, give them the flops to wear at the wedding and the rest of the rum as well. They can do a "toast" by drinking the rum out of their flops.

Tom thinks it's the coolest idea ever ... and who cares if they leak? Not like they'll probably ever use the flas again .... but it'll be cool to tell people about it! lol

We were going to do the engraved flask or zippo, but 2 of the gm's don't drink but they smoke, 3 of them don't smoke but they drink. Instead we got each one something we knew they would like.

We went shopping in Mexico the day before the wedding and got them each something that suits them (painting, glassware, etc.) It worked well for us plus it was a souvenir from PV so that was cool.

Side note, I got my brother the reef bottle opener sandals and he loves them but he doesn't use the opener because he says it gets dirty from being walked on. I still think it's a cool gimmick though (and I bet he'd use it if he were stranded with a beer in the woods!) The flask ones sound neat!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
