Oh Stephanie, it is an idea that came to our mind too! We are planning to have only about 20 guests so renting a villa and have the reception there would seem to be more intimate and reasonable. But I don't how it works because my family wanted me to get married in church. We're still undecided.
Ps: it IS an awesome house:)

awesome idea! having a private estate is much more of a personal and intimate affair than hanging at a resort or ballroom (which isn't bad either)...but if the number of guests makes sense, it can be much more cost efficient too.

Awesome! I've heard of doing a house rental instead of hotel. Great idea for just a reception. I might consider it!
