$5 for margaritas doesn't sound bad. As I said in my previous e-mail, I was disappointed that they were out of the question for my rehearsal, but really would like to try their food another time while I am there. Thanks for the tips!

If you're not havign a ton of people (i.e. lke a rehearsal dinner with 10 people or something) than you could even just have everyone order off the menu because while they're not cheap by any means the prices are pretty reasonable. margaritas are only $5! (not bad for a fancy hotel!)

I think that they quoted you a high buyout price, b/c they are trying to get you to book out the entire property. I run a highend restaurant in WI, and our prices are about the same for a buyout on a weekend night. The price reflects the the revenue they would have made if the restaurant was active that eventing, and the inconvenience for their hotel guests for not being able to use the property. All the politics can really be a damper!

WOW! That is A LOT! I wonder if October is a busy time of year with them... it's about twice the amount I was told. I heard Damiana was good too so I'm sure you'll have a great RD!

There regular menu is expensive but not crazy-ridiculous. Defintiely go and enjoy some delicious food!
