Default Outsourced Wedding Cakes

Do you have to pay a cake cutting or plating fee when you bring in a wedding cake from a vendor. Also, any recommendations for vendors?

I outsourced Jennifer Hatton for my cake, and Emeline at the Hilton is charging me a cake cutting fee. I outsourced the cake after I signed the contract. I tried to get her to wavie the fee and she did not.

Some resorts charge, so the best thing to do is ask them. The Sheraton, DeCortez didn't charge me.
