Default DIY Centerpiece Idea w/ Shells

This is ssoo simple ... and completely affordable and easy to assemble, especially if you find some clear plastic vases or jars to place the shells in.

Some other great ideas here as well...

THat would be such a super easy idea. You could even add some sprigs of flowers/branches/grass to jazz it up a bit!

I am doing those centerpieces at the rehearsal dinner, but mine will have sand on the bottom and a white candle on top. I saw it at a cape cod wedding and fell in love with it... after a while the candle melts and it looks like there is a level of water on the top... so pretty!

That sounds very pretty! You don't have a pic of that, do you? I will definitely put sand in the bottom ... and just need to decide how to add the candle. Did they leave a hole and put it down in the shells a bit?

I want to definitely find plastic jars/vases though (and I like that square look) so that nothing breaks in the transition from US to DR.
