Does anyone have any info on programs for the ceremony. Any other info that may be helpful would be greatly appreciated. My day is coming up quick and have a few decisions to make yet.

What decorations have or are you getting for your various EDR events? We're going to have the Mexican Cocktail party, the "free" dinner reception at El Cocotal, and then a mini-private party at Gaviotas for the cake and dancing after the dinner. Do I need to decorate anything or is it pretty enough as is? I was just going to get minimal decorations for the chapel, our wedding location.

If you get hanging flower arrangements for the ceremony they'll bring them to the other events so does those b/c they are multi-tasking.

Depending on how many people you have you could do a few flower arrangements. We had 4 pretty roses wrapped in a palm leaf, they had cute copper wire and beads holding it together. They were only $25USD each. They will also move these from Cocotal to Gaviotas if you ask.

Hey Jwolfe72 :)-we are having the white glove cocktail right after ceremony- evidently there are tall tables- so I'm just having the tall tables have the white linens and a bow tied right at tabletop (I think this is $36 for all the tables (6 tables total) combined- the bows will be the same color as my wedding- a red/pink color - then it is $50 to have rose petals scattered on all the tables- I'm bringing my own votives, so I'll add votives to the tables, and I'm bringing my own cocktail napkins that have our monogram and will match the bows...For the dinner, I'm bringing my own placecards, placecard holders, and menus- and having them add centerpieces and a table runner- I'm adding my votives I'm bringing for that also... for the chocolate fondue reception after dinner--- having the exact same decorations that I'm having at cocktail party.... except I'm also adding tiki torches and floating candles since it'll be dark... Hope this helps!

Great idea! Thanks! And $25/each isn't bad. When did you select what you wanted? I have the list of decorations, but I don't know where to start b/c I don't know how everything will look!

Hey Shannon! Wow - you've got a lot going on, but it sounds like you have it all under control! That's a really good idea about the white linens on the tall tables w/ the bows. I remember seeing Shea's pictures of her Mexican party and I think she had those decorations. However, I thought they were included, but I guess it wasn't. :-( I also like the rose petals on the tables! Thanks!

tall table with white linens are included. the only charge would be if you wanted different color bows.

We are going to pay for 3 nights, as our photographer is also a guest of ours.

I did have the Mexican Cocktail party, but instead of having the bright mexican colors, I opted just for white linens on the pub tables with ivory bows. The bows were 6.00 each, and the linens were included. I think they give you one table per 8 people, so I had 5 tables. I also saved rose petals from the isle, and had them spread them on the tables, along with ivory votives (which were 2.00 each)
I them had them place an empty vase on each table, in which we all put our bouquets in. (there was 5 of us)
