Long story short.. I want to ask a very good friend of mine to be a bridesmaid. We recently reconciled after not speaking for almost 2 years. (I've known her since 8th grade and love her like a sister.) Problem: My other 3 bridesmaids have their dresses and now the dress they have is no longer in stock. I ordered the 14 because she's said she's between a 14 and 16 but has been gaining massive weight due to some medication she's on. She has until October, but the poor girl is getting married next week and hasn't lost weight for her own wedding so I can't even ask her about fitting into it. Oh, she's asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding..
I haven't asked her yet because I want to make sure I can find her the dress.. I know that's terrible, but all the other girls, including my matron of honor is wearing the same dress and I don't want her to look like she's the matron of honor. I'm going to see her next Thursday for her wedding and want to bring the dress with to ask....
I know you girls are super internet saavy.. I just can't seem to find it and I don't have a Nordstrom's close by.. any ideas? Can they make a size 14 fit a 16?

here it is at Nordstrom... they have size 16 oops! but not in that color! dress

You could try to get a seamstress to work on it and let some of the seams out. I just saw it on Nordstrom's website, the biggest they have in that color is a 14. You can get it shipped to you. I've ordered from there before and it's $5 shipping.

I did order the 14 and it should be at my house today.. I'm thinking she's bigger than a 14 and not too happy about it..
