Cheap trips to Cancun/ Riviera Maya for july & august

Through travel by jen. I've heard this is a reputable company. Dos Playa does not sound that nice, but the cheapest place offered in the riviera maya, catalonia riviera, should be a great place. I've been researching it extensively b/c its where I want to have my wedding. Anyway, might help someone plan a site visit of maybe book wedding travel. Sale is for july & august. FYI, we really did NOT like Gran Caribe Real (Cancun). However, if you stay there you may be able to get a free or inexpensive upgrade to either The Royal in Playa del Carmen or the new Royal in Cancun. It's a little bit of a gamble, but last time we went there they had an upgrade for $200 total to the Royal in PDC w/free transportation. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you get there, you can ask if they have any promos like that going on.
