I use a photo hosting website (photobucket) and paste the url in the little yellow box that has a mountain on it~ that is the easiest way, IMO

if it helps, there are 3 pictures ...
1) signature - that shows up below every post you make (mine is the Marriage License picture right now)
2) avatar - that is to the left of every post you make
3) profile - that doesn't show up unless someone can see your profile
