We signed a contract that said we would pay for any unbooked rooms in full, if they were not filled. We also paid a deposit, but it was just to secure the hotel for the week. Does that make sense? |

 | Re: Playa Fiesta - Average Costs? Wow, I'm liking this place more and more everyday!!! :) It seems very reasonable. We went to brunch with FI's family yesterday we mentioned that we were definitely going to change the location from the Iberostar resorts and instead have everything with a boutique hotel. When we told them the approximate cost for their stay for 5 days, they were really surprised and happy to hear how reasonable it is! |

 | Re: Playa Fiesta - Average Costs? Thanks Jackie!
I saw your estimated expenses above.... how many guests do you think you'll wind up having for that price range?

 | Re: Playa Fiesta - Average Costs? We are estimating having about 60 guests. I have talked to a few girls that have done wonderful weddings there for around $10K, but, we are planning on spending a little more on some of the extras. |

 | Re: Playa Fiesta - Average Costs? We're thinking anywhere between 30-50 for ours and hoped to keep it around $10K. We want to spoil our guests and WOW! them as much as possible, but without breaking the bank. :)
Wow, you're 8 months out and already have 22 rooms booked! That's impressive!
Are you and your FI staying just 5 days there and then honeymooning elsewhere? Can people stay longer than the 5 days for the same rate it they want? We have some guests who want to stay a full week or more. |

Guests can stay extra nights, with the same nightly rate as your package. We are coming down a few days before(as suggested by our WC), and then doing a honeymoon to Greece six months later.
Also, PF provides lots of low-cost options that provide WOW! factors(fireworks, bands, fire jugglers, etc) that we are excited about. :) |

 | Re: Playa Fiesta - Average Costs? When you reserved the 18 room block, is there a specific room type that the guests will have? Or, will they be scattered throughout the different room types?
(BTW--- Thanks for answering so many of our initial questions! It's so nice to have somone farther along in their planning process for Playa Fiesta on here and so helpful about providing us with info!) |

There is a mix of room types - Standard Rooms, Ocean View Suites, Two Bedroom Ocean View Suites, and Penthouses. The wedding couple gets a detailed room chart, and assigns their guests to their rooms. As you go up above 18, Adam proportionately adds the connecting units to your block. |
