What's your groom wearing?

Hey ladies (and few gents) we've been discussing what Joe will wear to our wedding.... not suprisingly everyone has an opinion

our parents think he should still wear a tux, and Joe and I disagree. What are your grooms wearing?? If you have pics, I'd love to see!

Ok, well it's not my groom...but Monica's FI will be wearing a khaki colored suit. He actually really lucked out and got a nice, lightweight suit at Jos A Bank for like $100!! They were having one of their big sales - it was perfect timing. I don't have a pic of it. But I think it was just your basic men's suit. Flat front trousers, 3 button jacket I think. He's going to wear some kind of brown leather sandals with it. They'll still looking for those.

The groomsmen are wearing khaki pants and white shirts. Also wearing brown leather sandals.

I think a suit is quite formal enough for a beach wedding. Esp. if you and he aren't particularly attatched to the idea of a tux.

I couldn't convince Cain to wear a jacket so he'll just be wearing a traditional mexican wedding shirt with linen pants and no shoes.

We bought this suit this weekend from Macy's for James. They have all of their Cubavera brand linens on sale. We bought all of the groomsman shirts, including James' - a total of 10 shirts - they were $50 shirts on sales for $19.99.

We're still undecided. I want steve to wear a tan suit, but we can't find any that he likes because he's so damn picky! So, we found a black suit that he really likes, and I really like it too, but I almost feel like its too formal, the suit also has a vest. He doesn't agree that its too formal. I'm just so sick of looking, I don't even want to discuss it anymore I'm ready to just order the black one!

Black might be really hot on the beach...that would be my only concern. But if he loves it, and is really that picky...I say let him wear it.

I bought a tan colored linen suit on ebay that I am wearing with brown sandals and a plain white un-tucked button up shirt with no tie.

I agree, he's going to be dying!! The problem with all the tan suits is that he wants a high lapel, which means 4 or 5 buttons and a flat front pant, so we only find suits with one or the other, not both. I really love how the tan suits look, but if I can't find him one then I'm afraid we're stuck with black. Unless I can find a rental...
