 | Lake Tahoe We are getting married in Lake Tahoe. Any suggstions on where to stay? We are getting married on the south end and would like to stay there. We prefer a resort or cabin type situation as we will be inviting guests over after the service (45+) |

 | Re: Lake Tahoe the old Ceasars has just been completely redone, its now called MontBleu MONTBLEU Resort Casino and Spa - Lake Tahoe
I stayed there at Christmas and it was really nice, but as far as cabins go, there are so many private ones you would be best to contact a rental company and see how they can help you. I don't know much about the south side of the lake, I am from Reno, NV and spent most of my time on the North Side.

 | Re: Lake Tahoe Hi,
I live in Reno, NV and have used this company to rent vacation rentals before and they have a wide variety of homes that might work! Lake Tahoe Vacation Rentals, Lake Tahoe Cabin, Condo or House Rental, Lodging and Accommodations in Cabins, Condos, and Houses
As far as hotels/resorts kind of depends on your budget...Embassay Suites are really nice but expensive, also MontBleu is brand new (formally Caesar's) and usually has some really good prices. Hope that helps a little. |

 | Re: Lake Tahoe Thanks ladies! I will check into both of those. I just found out that the Inn we want to use won't let us have any sort of gathering in our cabin so we will have to look elsewhere. |

 | Re: Lake Tahoe When I have helped friends with their weddings I always got great advice from the local photographes. They have no interest in a particular spot and know well what does or does not work for getting ready, ceremony, or reception locations. Many restaurants are happy to take 45 people for a private reception and the cost is very reasonable as there is no room charge as with a hotel.
In South Lake Tahoe area a great photographer to contact is Christa Hoffarth ( [studio] Christa Hoffarth Photography. She helped a friend with ideas even for the decorations that worked were awesome and not expensive. |

 | Re: Lake Tahoe We go to Lake Tahoe all the time, love it. To save $ I would recommend renting a house, condo or timeshare. We have a family timeshare in SOuth Lake Tahoe and swear by it. Very quiet and Romantic. The Casinos are nice but very crowded, heavy smoke (smokers), and over priced. Harvey's remodeled not to long ago.
