 | Fairmont Kea Lani Villas Maui's only luxury all-suite and villa oceanfront resort on Polo Beach. This resort is only 30 minutes from the airport.
Villas include private plunge pools, complete kitchens, two full bathrooms, laundry facilities, and home entertainment centers. Experience luxurious accommodations in a tropical paradise where you'll stroll hand in hand along our warm white-sand beach by day and dine in one of our gourmet restaurants. |

 | I stayed at the Fairmont in July. It was great. Our room overlooked the ceremony location and I shot a couple of photos in passing:
looking down at ceremony site
view of ceremony site from our balcony
view looking back at hotel
fi in the adult pool
the hotel is pretty pricey, but the service was fantastic.
We were in a 'garden view' room, but it was an end unit, so our balcony wrapped around and we had an ocean view as well.
eta: we stayed in the resort, not the villas. The villas are located closer to the beach and look pretty fabulous, but the rooms in the hotel were very large, and nice.

 | Thanks for sharing. My fiance and I have booked our honeymoon stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani. We were contemplating between the Four Seasons and the Kea Lani, but chose the Kea Lani because the all suite rooms. Any positive or negative feedback about the Kea Lani? |

We stayed at the Fairmont last summer and loved it. We debated between here, the Four Season, the Ritz, and the Grand Wailea, but ultimately we booked the Fairmont and we were glad that we did.
The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. We had lunch at the pool bar which proved to be a lot of fun, and the bartender (I wish I remember his name!) was extremely helpful. He pulled out a map of the area and gave us a guided dinner tour using the Fairmont's private car service. It was great :)
There are a lot of kids at the resort, but they do have an adult pool area (see the photo above)
It is pricey at the hotel, so I do recommend stopping by the Costco, or the other large markets near the airport on your way to the resort in order to cut down on the cost of booze & snacks. There is a minibar with a refrigerator in the suite. On average, lunches (with drinks) were around $100 at the hotel, so be prepared.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. |

 | *butting in* I stayed here a couple of years ago and this hotel is fabulous!!! It was by far the best vacation ever and the staff treated us like royalty! The activites desk will set everything up for you and charge it to your room if you prefer. Food was awesome...breakfast on the balcony was breathtaking. I was sooo sad to leave. |
