karma: 4 | Grrr To Tan Lines
So normally I tan really easily and never burn. Last summer the FI and I went to the beach and fell asleep (bad us). This resulted in horrible sunburns, my very first. I had been wearing shorts over my bikini bottoms and my bikini top had a bow on the back. Luckily I must have been turning in my sleep, because I got a full burn on both sides (or the burn just went right through me!) but it turned into a nice tan, with the exception of really funky looking tan lines (I had a pair of white skin shorts and a big bow across my back along with nice triangle shapes on my boobs!).
Flash forward to this year... I still have the tan lines!!! Is that f'ing riduiculous or what? You can still totally see the tan lines on my boobs and back especially. I thought tanning before the wedding would even it out, but it hasn't. It's super freaky. They just look like new tan lines now. WTF is up with that? It's like I got tan lines tattooed on my body or something because they won't go away |

well since going to the tanning salon is out for you now Jessica, you might want to fill in the spots with a spray on tan or something...

I know! I stopped going to the tanning salon when I found out about being pregnant and was thinking, darn, now I'll for sure never get this tan line thing solved.
I have to say, I never thought about spray tanning though. Hmmm, I'll have to look into that. That might work! I just don't want to have an orange hue... maybe if they just fill in the lines it'll work.

The Jergens lotion that gradually tans you is suppose to work well for evening out tan lines too.. My matron of Honor was in another wedding a year or so ago and worked like a charm. Not sure about self tanners and being pregnant.

Oooh, I actually like that idea of trying the jergens lotion better. I actually just threw out my bottle that i got last year (there was a nasty leak!). damn, now i wish i tried to salvage it. I wasn't thinking at the time. Thanks for reminding me! I'll have to pick up another bottle and attempt that.
