Possible group order for Jamaica OOT totes?

So I think I found a tote I like for my OOT bags, however they have a minimum order quantity of 100, and I'm probably only going to end up needing approx 12 to 15 of them. So I was thinking of possibly putting together a group order, like I've seen other brides do for stadium cups, and wanted to see if anyone was interested? Below is a link to the tote - I was looking at the pink/orange striped one. I love the stripes instead of just doing a solid color!!

I've ordered a sample (and you can order your own sample online if you want as well). Not sure how long it will take to receive.

 

If we order 100, the cost is only 2.75 per bag, plus a $30 fee to set up the logo, and the shipping obviously. I was thinking we could do a generic design that includes a little palm tree or something "beachy" and then text that says Negril, Jamaica, 2010. And maybe something cute like "We Did It On the Beach" or I've seen other cute slogans similar to that on other threads as well. And if we don't have enough Negril brides that are interested, I'd be ok with taking out the Negril part and leaving it as Jamaica 2010.

And if for some reason the sample of the pink/orange stripe isn't that great - this was my back-up choice (natural/pink), but just a little more expensive.

Hi Islandbride - no, I have not ordered anything yet because there wasn't any real interest in a group order, so I'm still deciding what to do. To place an order for these bags with the imprint design, the minimum order is 100, and I only need about 15 to 20. I also asked the company if they would sell them to me with no logo at all and they will, with a minimum order of 25. So I may end up going that route. I had a sample shipped to me and the pink is actually a hot pink/fuschia, not a lighter pink like it shows online. The bag is really roomy and definitely a nicer quality than the first one (although I'm still considering the first one just because I like the colors). It's a decent weight canvas and it's lined inside - also has a small inside pocket and an attached key ring to hook your keys on. This bag is slightly more expensive, but only has a minimum order of 25.

So right now I'm debating between the 2 bags and could go either way. The first bag is less expensive, is much lighter so wouldn't take up much space in a suitcase, and because of the material it's made of, I think it would dry quickly if it gets wet (by the pool/beach). But I can only get it imprinted if I order 100. The second bag is really cute, and more substantial, butis a little bulky and will take up a lot more space in a suitcase. Minimum order is only 25 so I could get it imprinted, but it's also a more expensive bag.

If anyone is interested in either bag, the company will send you a sample at no cost.

I just saw another thread with a link to this bag and I went ahead and splurged!! Definitely more expensive but I think our guests will definitely use this bag again, so it's worth it to me -

I just ordered 6 tote bags from Vistaprint.com. They came out to $6.00 per bag with the 25% off. There is no minimum order or print fee (unless you just order the 1 free bag).

I picked a palm tree-/sunset theme printed with Jamaica 2009. I think everyone will love them. Another plus with vistaprint, the more you order, the less per item. Play with their designs and see if you like them!

Hi gbyrd!! I'm not going to be doing a group order after all - sorry!!! Since I didn't get much interest after I originally posted, I just went ahead and purchased a different bag that didn't have a minimum order (see post #7).

But just because I'm not doing a group order doesn't mean that you couldn't organize one yourself If you need 40 or 50, that's a great start for a minimum order! You could either use this thread or you can start a new one with the tote design you are looking to order. Good Luck!
