Tropical Weddings Jamaica

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone! I was looking online and ran across a site called tropicalweddingsjamaica.com and was wondering if any of the couples getting married in Jamaica went thru them for the wedding and reception? If so please leave some feedback about your experience. Thanks so much Asone.

I contacted Almarie when planning my cruise wedding. She seemed very nice and responded quickly. Her prices were quite a bit higher so I booked directly through a hotel instead. If you use the search function it should pull information for you. I know at least one other bride used TWJ and included them in her wedding review. Good luck!

i am not using then but i have always heard wonderful things about them. Most people comment that it was a bit expensive but worth it for the timely responses and the wonderful results. a bride who recently came back from ROR used them. you should check wedding reviews or do a search.

Hi Asone, that was me. I just got back from Jamaica and I used TWJ for my wedding ceremony. They were truly wonderful to work with. Very organized and I definitely felt like I received a very personalized experience. They have many different venues you can choose from to get married as well as reception options. You can even customize a package to fit your needs/budget. I don't think you will be disappointed if you decide to use them.

Hi!

I am currently in the process of using Tropical Weddings Jamaica for both my ceremony and reception. Almarie (the wedding coordinator) is AMAZING!! She responds almost immediately to all questions/concerns. She is so flexible, and has made my planning process really easy and enjoyable. The prices may be a bit pricey, but I think it will be worth it if you're looking for a unique and private wedding. So far, I have nothing but great things to say about Tropical Weddings Jamaica. Hopefully the rest of my planning goes just as smoothly...and good luck to you too!!

Hi, I think we are most likely going to go with TWJ as well based on everyone's rave reviews about Almarie.

That being said, the prices are quite high for just the ceremony alone. I guess as long as everything turns out great, I wouldn't mind paying the extra cash for having someone plan a wonderful (but stressful) event! LOL

I was married at the Grande Oceanfront "Firefly" location. TWJ "Almarie" organized my day. It ran smoothly and was more then I could ever ask for. All my guests were so impressed. Especially after seeing so many weddings at our hotel during our stay in Jamiaca.( 5-8 a day!!) My wedding day/location was private and special. It truly was "my" day. No uninvited nosy hotel mystery guest, hotel pool parties noise, sun bathers in the background during wedding and photos! I can honestly say, going off the resort was our best decision. My guests were happy and felt safe. They were amazed with Jamiaca and the views that you don't get from the hotel.

I know a couple people throughout the forum have e-mailed me, but if anyone has any questions just send me an e-mail. I'll be happy to help in anyway.

Hope my review of TWJ is helpful!! I can't say it enough. Going through "Almarie" was the best decision we made!! I can't thank her enough.

If you go through Almarie's testimonials I wrote one. My wedding date was March 2008. We are under an arch with pink flowers. Also, our pictures are on her site under location "Grande Oceanfront"

Good Luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
