So my search continues for a photographer that I like and can afford. So untill I win the lotto or find a new job, I'm still looking for a photog in PV to save the expense of travel costs.

Has anyone ever heard of this photographer? I can't seem to be able to send an email via their contact form. They seem to be located inside the Westin. Any help?

I actually got a quote from them. I posted something asking photographers for advise. They had a professional photographer and a master photographer
price list. for I think four hours the professional photographer delivered 100 photographs and the master delivered 120. the price was about 1600 and 1800.

They definitely do great work but I thought it was a bit much for the amount of photographs they delivered in the time frame. If you want I can look for the quote they gave me and I can send it to you. just pm me and I can look for it.

That is a big reason I ended up going with Michelle... I will probably be broke for the next year or so but I thought it was well worth it. Remember photos is the only thing you'll have once it's all over.

Thanks. I did read that post. I remember recieving a similar price list from Paulina Ulloa and although she was affordable, when you compare how many pics you'll be getting, its not worth it.

At this point I just can't afford the photographers I want. I'm going to wait and see if we can allow for one. But I just don't want to commit if I know we simply cannot afford it.

Michelle has great shots, by the way!

Hey chicas, Arte Fotografico...is one of the preferred photographers at the Westin. He actually offices there, but obviously will shoot weddings at other locations, as well. I had the opportunity to see a complete wedding of his while I was on my scouting trip. He's pretty affordable, but did not offer as many proofs as other photographers did. I have his quote sheet in a hard copy, but it't as about 4 hours coverage for $2000, and you got 120 proofs on CD. This might have been the rate he quoted my WC. (His name eludes me at the moment, but I'll think of it).

His pictures were pretty nice, too, not as "arty" as some of the other photographers, but they were good pictures. And the "artiness" is just a matter of taste, not a depiction of quality of picture. I did think it was weird that he set a limit on the number of proofs you receive. 120 "good" pictures from 4 hours isn't enough for me.

Adeybaby- I completely agree. When you take into consideration that most DW photographers include RD, 8-10 hrs on the WD, and day after session and most include the CD in their basic packages for about $5000, other photograhers, although "more affordable" just don't seem to be worth it! I'm trying to get my FI to realize this too. But so far no luck.

Who is this Michelle you talk about?

Michelle Turner. She is based out of Maine but spends some of the year in PV. You don't have to pay for her trave/accomidations.
