Have any of you tried it? I got my molds done about 3 weeks ago, and am just waiting for my trays to arrive. I have no idea what to expect. Of course the Dr. only says good things about it, but why would he say otherwise. I was just wondering if you have used it, how were your results? Was it painful? Thanks!

I actually get my trays next week. My colleague just went through it and she said it is uncomfortable when you change trays (which occurs every 10 days to 2 weeks - the frequency depends on how good you are about wearing them), but she reminded me you are moving your teeth, so no surprise it is uncomfortable. Also, when she initially got them it took some time to get used to them. But, overall the experience was not bad and she made it sound better than the old metal braces. And, her teeth look great! So, in the end it should be worth it.

Mine are $5300, and it includes free Zoom whitening when I'm done and the retainer. Make sure you ask about the retainer if you get it. Someone told me to make sure and ask if it is included in the price so I didn't have to pay more at the end. It seems a little pricey, but I didn't want to have to deal with traditional braces. The only plus is that the financing is 0% apr for 2 years. The down side...it's basically like having an extra car payment. I just hope the results are worth it!

Mine cost $4800, but I lucked out. They are honoring the negotiate rate they have with my insurance company even though I am not covered, and they were running a promotion - $500 off the cost, free whitening at the end, the retainer and 0% financing for two years. So, it is costing me $3800.

Yeah, I saw it. I didn't want to go ahead and invite myself. Sometimes I feel like an outsider on here, because everyone seems to know each other so well. I don't know if I could go anyway though. I have an 8 month old at home, and my FI is a full time student in addition to his job. The weekends are the only time he can catch up on his course load. I would have to have him watch the little guy so I could go, and he would lose out on that time to do school work. Thanks for the invite though!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
