Are you hiring a Videographer for your DW?

Recommended Posts

If you’re on the fence about hiring a videographer… I highly suggest that you do… and I highly suggest you check out Paul Schrank of Playa Weddings - Videography in Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya...

Yesterday, we received our video from Paul, and I can’t tell you how pleased and amazed we were… it was above and beyond what we expected… it blew our minds away… we sat there watching it, laughing and crying, just like we did on our wedding day… I can’t thank Paul enough for making such a beautiful video… the editing, the music, everything about it was perfect… he did a phenomenal job…. A true artist... And I can’t recommend him enough… Playa Weddings - Videography in Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya

Thanks for the recommendation. I will definitely get in contact with him. We know that we would like a videographer...and one was included in our package with Dreams Cancun, but I wasn't sure if I should use their videographer or go with an outside vendor. It's always good to hear from someone who had a positive experience.

I have decided to go with Paul for our April 23 wedding. His website looks amazing and we are really excited about it. He seems very professional and courteous. Unfortunately, our resort charges a $100 fee for using an outside videographer (they want you to use their in-house guy I guess) but I think it is worth it for Paul. Just out of curiosity, what song did you use for your edit?

Mexicobride,

Paul was worth it... you'll forget about the extra fee when you see your video... as for the songs paul used:

(1)Lost without you - Robin Thicke

(2)Quando, Quando, Quando - Michael Buble ft. Nelly Furtado

(3)Overjoyed - Stevie Wonder

(4)Better Together - Jack Johnson

I think I must have spent nearly an hour watching the videos on Paul's site. I admit, I was brought to tears (of joy) on several occasions. I think that's enough to convice me :) I have e-mailed him about our wedding date, and hope to hear back soon! Thanks so much... your wedding was gorgeous, and you were definitely the belle of the ball :)

  • 1 month later...

I ran across his work last year and immediately booked him for our Nov 2007 wedding--absolutely love his work!

I'm so glad to hear from a satisfied client!

I love your wedding and the colors of the fabric. Did the hotel put that together for you or did you bring your own decorations?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
