I'm doing fake red rose because of the weight factor. I think the stem on a real one would too thick and the whole thing too heavy. I don't want it plopping out on the way down the aisle.
The keepsake aspect is a nice perk I'd never thought about.

I have dark brown, almost black hair down to my waist and am wanting to curl it and wear the sides back with white flowers all in the back (I have an inspiration pic I will scan) and there are a couple of flowers on the link that I like, but if anyone has any other great links, please let me know!

The fake ones are pretty easy to make too. If you can find the flower that you want at a craft store you can just hot glue it to a hair comb or bobby pin. I made mine and all my BMs.

my friend wore a real flower & it wilted in just a couple of hours in the sun. I went with a fake one. I attached it to a comb & my hairdresser put it on after doing my updo.

I had a fake one, so that way I could wear it to my legal ceremony, my wedding, and my AHR. Three for the price of one!
